What was Ceausescu's Communism?
Communism, socialism, capitalism and all the words ending in ism like fascism are explained in Wikipedia. Why I keep writing this web-page? I have to say these: - In the article "Romanian Socialism in the 80's" I exposed Nicolae Ceausescu' secret plan to realize the Communist society in his life time. The result was the most absurd experiment ever.
- The analysis is done from inside Ceausescu's system and not from Western point of view. This article witnesses the monstrosity of Romanian Socialism.
- It was written in June 1989 and distributed with intention to expose Nicolae Ceausescu' inner anti-human policy in plain language to western democratic countries to get support for anti-Ceausescu movement.
- I am perfectly aware that a perfect Capitalist or Communist system does not exist. There are rumors about the
Third Way,
a combination of free market with redistribution of goods and services for many, but this is not my subject now. My analysis points to violent, Leninist, Bolshevik way to socialism, we do not want a repeat of the XXth century tragedies.
Next is my translation from Romanian language. I do it slowly because the pains from the past are not completely healed.
"Romanian Socialism in the 80's"
Everybody agrees that Nicolae Ceausescu and his gang are responsible for all wrong happening in Romania today. This is only a generalized assumption from everyone intuition, but a careful analysis is needed.We can identify the mistakes made so far and crate a list with priorities. This will be the needed plan to get out from this historical trap. I made this analysis to help me and the people who do not devote time and energy or do not have all tools available for doing it for themselves. My conclusions will help the reader to build his/her conclusions based on personal experience. I grouped the root causes for Romanian disaster in four categories:
- Causes due to secret treaties between Stalin and Churchill (1944) and
the sphere of influences after World War II;
- Causes due to
Lenin's theoretical script
for the violent transition to socialism and the dictatorship of the proletariat as the method of repression of opposition;
- Causes due to
incompetent Romanian Communist leadership
before and at the time of energy crisis and the mistakes due to practice of social contradictions theory;
- Causes due to
missing opposition or democratic expression
that created a "no hope" society and making the eventual recovery from Ceausescu's Communism a formidable difficult task;
The Red Army post World War II occupation for twenty years, until 1964, "helped the export and consolidation" of the Communism in
Romania
. It was almost nothing to do about the setup described at the first two root causes, only the last two would made a difference. |

The Ceausescu’s transition to Communism having abolished social classes by making all equal in poverty at the level of basic needs only, shows a
dialectical development in spiral
back to slavery where the production means and dictatorship are enhanced by today's technology. The new achieved quality is a new mode of production that could be named Socialist Slavery.Socialist Slavery is a form of forced labor in which people are held against their will from the time of their birth, and are deprived of the right to leave, to refuse to work, or to receive adequate compensation. I would like to have some citizens from North Korea, Cuba or Venezuela to express opinions about their Socialism or everybody else about "The Third Way" or "Centrism" solutions on
