The Freedom of Speech is part of democratic expression
The Freedom of Speech is part of democratic expression in civilized societies but in Ceausescu's Romanian "Gold Era" or for similarity in any single party ruled country.
Let's go back to my translation:
"Today in 1989 three generations since 1917 October Russian revolution we know that the dictatorship of proletariat created a new class, the class of leaders of Communist Party that replaced the former bourgeoisie. The new privileged class is addicted to political power and completely disconnected from the general population interests. The dictatorship of proletariat and the democratic centralism in practice mean concentration of the power for a Party minority using a Marxist-Leninist Bolshevik example and rhetoric, using a more sophisticated repression machine than the one they replaced, keeping the working people in a new slavery.
Now after 70 years of Socialism we question ourselves:
- Why so much killings and blood if so easy after “a dialectic spiral development” we had got “a new quality of social life” with less individual freedom, a social status of misery, and lies from government intense propaganda?
- What kind of continuous transition to communism is this experiment with inefficient work, poor resources management and the people artificially made equal at the poorest level?
- If the transition to Communism require an abundance of goods and services for all, why don’t we do just that and postpone the dogmatic program that made our life absurd?
- Way this class of majority miss-leaded poor would not wish for a real democratic system?
More and more people think about a real democracy. How would be the life in freedom? To educate the population kept in darkness for decades about democracy is a formidable difficult task. The freedom of speech and good leaders/educators are the prerequisites."
Twenty years - about one generation - since December 1989 uprising the Romanian's transition to Democracy is progressing faster due to the USA presence. It is interesting how the middle-east wars helped Romania to get rid of
Russian's sphere of influence.
Vldimir Ilici Ulianov - Lenin quotes: - One man with a gun can control 100 without one.
- We need the real, nation-wide terror which reinvigorates the country and through which the Great French Revolution achieved glory.
- A lie told often enough becomes truth.
- It is true that liberty is precious - so precious that it must be rationed.
