The Pitch Page is your special web place where you sell

You need a special pitch page that has information on your e-product and more than that. You want your reader to be compelled to continue to read and buy.

Here are 9 tips or mandatory steps to do a Pitch Page.

  1. Once at the sales page make sure your client is not distracted with pop ups, banners and more things to buy. You want them to read the whole page.

  2. Having a Powerful Headline make your Headline Compelling. How I Made______ Have the background color be yellow and the text Red. Last Chance Offer_______________ BONUS_________

  3. Let the readers know a bit about you. I add a video or my picture at the end of my sales page I am usually selling an affiliate product but will add my picture at the end so they know who they are dealing with. I give personal details why I am qualified to sell this product.

  4. List plenty of testimonials. Testimonials are a great source for the prospect to believe he is not the first to buy into this product. If you can add a picture to the testimonial this works nice so the prospect sees a real person they are purchasing from. Include your email address.

  5. Tell me about the product, why should I buy it? Show some pricing comparisons, how much am I saving? Can I go anywhere else and get this product cheaper? Why buy from you? I always go to ebay and check out the competition.

  6. Bonuses. Throw in FREE offers, free downloads, free coupons. Start getting free offer downloads even if you do not need them,

  7. Always give an unconditional guarantee. Give the prospect at least 10 days to decide if this was well worth their time. Just adding this will make your prospect feel at ease.

  8. Build a sense of urgency. Why should the prospect buy TODAY? Will the price be higher soon is this in a beta stage?

  9. Have your Buy Now Button. Appear in more than one spot. I have mine placed at the top, middle and bottom of the page. Make it clear. Send them to a Thank You page once they buy the product.

Here are ClickBank recommendations

The Pitch Page will need to include the following information:

  • Provide a detailed description of the product

  • Clearly state how much the product will cost.

  • Explain how the product will be delivered (web page, email, etc)

  • Explain how long delivery will take (instant, 5 minutes, etc). For recurring billing products, be sure to explain how it will be delivered and how often it will be delivered. For example, if you are offering a newsletter, explain how the newsletter will be delivered (email, web page, etc.), and when it will be delivered (e.g. 1st of the month, 2nd Monday of every month, etc.).

  • Include the ClickBank payment link
